Excellent solutions for large cases of tooth decay:
Inlays or Onlays are used to replace large metal fillings or when there is not enough tooth structure to support a white filling. They can also restore teeth that are cracked or fractured if the damage is not severe enough to require a dental crown. Inlays and onlays are typically made from porcelain, composite resin, or gold. Because they can be crafted from tooth-colored materials, inlays and onlays are virtually invisible and can result in a more natural-looking smile. With the latest technology and advanced materials, inlays and onlays can be highly durable and long-lasting.
During the initial session, we will painlessly remove the decay or old filling, take a detailed impression of the tooth, and then insert a temporary white filling. A custom-made porcelain inlay or onlay will be bonded to the tooth during the second session, which typically occurs a week later.
